Details of change

Effective December 17, 2021, HP is enhancing the BIOS on HP 2021 Notebook PCs. The new updates are being made available for download from the HP software and drivers page for the product.

HP ZBook Fury 17.3/15.6 Inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC System BIOS has the following enhancements added:

  • Fixes an issue when the Thunderbolt graphic card does not work properly after restarting the unit.

  • Fixes an issue when you cannot adjust the brightness by FN + F3/F4 when the Privacy Panel brightness is turned on in F10.

  • Fixes an issue when the battery charging LED changes from amber to white when the battery charges to 88%.

  • Fixes an issue when it shows yellow bang in the Device Manager on UCSI item.

  • Enhancement to address the security vulnerability CVE-2021-0145.
