HP Smart Tank Printers - Printing reports and self-test pages

Print a Printer Information Report to find information about your printer, connection mode, Wi-Fi Direct name and password, and the current error status of your printer.

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Press the Information button .

A Printer Information Report prints.

Print a Printer Status Report to find the printer serial number, estimated ink levels, printer usage, connectivity, and scan settings.

1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for five seconds to enable support mode.

   All buttons on the control panel light up.

2. Press the Resume button .

A Printer Status Report prints.

Print a Network Configuration Page to find important network settings such as network status and the printer IP address.

1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for five seconds to enable support mode.

   All buttons on the control panel light up.

2. Press the Information button and Resume button simultaneously.

Print a Wi-Fi Quick Start Guide to find the instructions to set up the Wi-Fi connection.

1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for five seconds to enable support mode.

   All buttons on the control panel light up.

2. Press the Information button .

Print a Wi-Fi Direct Page to find the instructions to set up and use Wi-Fi Direct.

1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for five seconds to enable support mode.

   All buttons on the control panel light up.

2. Press the Information button and Cancel button simultaneously.

Print a Web Services Report to find the instructions to turn on and set up Web Services and fix connection issues.

1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for five seconds to enable support mode.

   All buttons on the control panel light up.

2. Press the Resume button and Cancel button simultaneously.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page to check if cleaning or aligning of printhead is required.

1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for five seconds to enable support mode.

   All buttons on the control panel light up.

2. Press and hold the Color Copy button for three seconds.

2. Scroll down, and then touch Tools.

3. Touch Reports > Status Reports > Printer Status Report.

1. On the printer control panel home screen, touch Menu.

2. Scroll down, and then touch Settings.

3. Touch Network > Wi-Fi.

4. Scroll down, and then touch Print Start Guide.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page to check if cleaning or aligning of printhead is required.

1. On the printer control panel home screen, touch Menu.

2. Scroll down, and then touch Tools.

3. Touch Troubleshooting > Print Quality > Print Quality Diagnostic Page.

A Print Quality Diagnostic Page prints.

Print a Fax Report to find the log for faxes sent and received.

1. On the printer control panel home screen, touch Menu.

2. Scroll down, and then touch Tools.

3. Touch Reports > Fax Reports > Fax Log.

A Fax Report prints.
