Purchase ink or toner cartridges

Replacement ink and toner is available from HP and local retailers.

  1. Go to the HP Store.

  2. Select your country/region and language.

  3. Click Ink & toner at the top of the page.

  4. Follow the instructions to find and order the cartridges for your printer.

Install replacement ink cartridges

Install new cartridges in HP OfficeJet 7720 Wide Format printers.

  1. Make sure paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer.

  2. Open the cartridge access door.

  3. Push in on the front of the cartridge to release it from the carriage.

    CAUTION:

    Do not lift the latch handle on the side of the carriage. This can unseat the printhead and cause print mechanism damage and printing problems.

  4. Remove the new cartridge from the package.

  5. Insert the cartridge into its color-coded slot until it clicks into place.

  6. Close the cartridge access door, and then follow any instructions to align the printer if prompted.
