DESCRIPTION
The touchscreen might only recognize single digit characters. This issue occurs when attempting to enter double digit characters. The issue occurs on Retail Systems with touchscreens connected to ASMedia 12v Powered USB cards.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps to disable USB Selective suspend:
  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Click Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
  3. Click Change plan settings.
  4. Locate, and then click Change advanced power settings.
  5. Locate USB settings, and then locate and expand USB selective suspend setting.
  6. Set the Setting to Disabled.
