This document contains instructions for printing a test page, a Printer Status Report, a Print Quality Diagnostic page, a Wireless Network Test page, a Network Configuration Page, a Printer Information Page, and a Web Services Report.
Print a test page
Print a test page to make sure the hardware functions correctly.

Make sure there is U.S. letter or A4 size, unused, plain paper in the input tray.

Press and hold the Power button, and then press the Cancel button

Let go of the Cancel button, and then the Power button.A test page prints.
Print a Printer Status Report
Print a Printer Status Report to find general information about the printer such as product information, connectivity settings, and scan settings.
Press and hold the Cancel button for 3 seconds.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page
If you are experiencing any print quality issues, print a Print Quality Diagnostic page to help identify the source of the issue. See Print Self-Test pages using HP Smart App to print the page from HP Smart app.

Print a Wireless Network Test page
Print the Wireless Test page for information about the printer's wireless connection. The Wireless Network Test
page provides information about the printer status, hardware (MAC) address, and the IP address. If the
printer is connected to a network, the test report displays details about the network settings.

Print a Network Configuration Page to make sure that the printer is on the same network as the computer.

Print a Printer Information Page to find information about mobile printing, your wireless network connection, and your Wi-Fi Direct name and password.

Print Self-Test pages using HP Smart App
You can also print a Printer Status Report, a Print Quality Diagnostic page, a Wireless Network Test page, a Network Configuration Page, and a Web Services Report from HP Smart app.

Open HP Smart and select your printer.

Click Printer Reports, or click Tools and then click Printer Reports.The list of reports displays.

Select the report that you want to print.

Click Print.The report prints.
