HP PrinterOn Enterprise - PAS0073 error when submitting print request

This is generally caused by the PrinterOn Processing Server service not started or not running.
  1. Launch Windows Services.
  2. Scroll to the PrinterOn Processing Server and ensure it is started and running (if the service is not started, start the service and ensure it gets to a 'running' state).
  3. Scroll to the PrinterOn Status service and ensure it is started and running (if the service is not started, start the service and ensure it gets to a 'running' state).
  4. Validate all the other PrinterOn services are running.
  5. Try submitting another print request and see if the request is now successful.
  6. Proxy Environment:
Validate that the proxy settings have been enabled within the PrinterOn Configuration Manager.
    • General:
      1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager.
      2. Select the 'General Settings' then enter the Proxy details in the 'Proxy Settings'.
    • Component Level:
      1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager.
      2. Navigate to Advanced, Components, select configure on the PrintAnywhere Server component (or any other PrinterOn component that needs to be validated that the Proxy settings are enabled).
      3. Select the Networking tab and ensure the Proxy settings are enabled and saved appropriately.
note:
Applies to PrinterOn Enterprise 3.x and later.
If a proxy server exists in the environment then proxy details should be entered in the PrinterOn configuration manager for all the PrinterOn Enterprise components to utilize.
