DESCRIPTION
The BIOS Configuration Utility (BCU) does not clear the customer or the proxy uniform resource locators (URLs).

RESOLUTION
Clearing the Custom URL or Custom Proxy is no longer an option with the BCU program. Disable is the only option available. To resolve this issue, perform the following steps with the BCU.TXT file open:
  1. To disable the Custom URL, following the BIOS Source heading, place an asterisk in front of the selection to disable:

    HP.com
    *Custom URL
  2. To disable proxy. following the Network BIOS Update Enable Proxy heading, place an asterisk in front of the selection to disable:
    Enable
    *Disable
  3. Save the BCU.TXT file.
  4. Open the Command Prompt with Administrator Privleges.
  5. Enter the command " BiosConfigUtility.exe /setconfig:BCU.txt " and press Enter.
  6. When BCU operation is complete, close the Command Prompt.
