HP Thin Clients - How to Update or Install a Package from Debian Server Using APT Command

By default on ThinPro OS, the APT command checks the packages only from HP ftp server, but sometimes the user want install a new package from Debian ftp server, to be able to do this user should edit source.list file.
The name of debian ftp server exists as comment, the user must remove the # at the beginning of the line.
User can also add another server name on the file in the following format:
DEB FTP://FTPSERVERNAME FOLDERNAME SUBFOLDERNAME ......

Details

To edit file:
  1. Open root session
  2. Open xterminal
  3. Launch mousepad editor with root permission:
    • cd /sbin
    • mousepad
  4. Open file: /etc/apt/sources.list
  5. Edit file then save modification
