HP Officejet 4500 (G510) and 4500 (K710) All-in-One Printer Series - Printing a Self-Test Report

Introduction

This document contains steps for printing a self-test report from the printer control panel.
The extended self-test report provides printer information, such as the printer name, model number, serial number, and the firmware version number. The self-test report includes printed test patterns that you can use to troubleshoot print quality issues. The report also includes a log of recent events.

Print a self-test report using the All-in-One control panel

Use the following steps to print a self-test report.
  1. Load plain white paper in the tray.
  2. Press and hold the Cancel button ().
  3. While you press and hold the Cancel button (), press the OK button (). The self-test report prints.
