A 'Carriage Jam' Message Displays for HP Photosmart C3100 All-in-One Printer Series

Issue
A 'Carriage Jam' error message displays on the computer. The Check Paper and Check Cartridge lights blink while the Start Copy Color and Start Copy Black lights are on, but not blinking. A paper jam might have previously occurred.
You might also experience the following symptoms:
  • The product won't print.
  • The print job stops unexpectedly.
