Resolution
HP Jumpstart software has been discontinued and has been replaced by myHP software. HP recommends using the HP Jumpstart Removal tool specified below to remove the HP Jumpstart software.
Due to an issue on certain Business PC products where the removal tool left associated Jumpstart apps in Apps and Features, Revision 2 of this bulletin adds SoftPaq SP140697, specifically for Business PC products, to fix this issue. This issue does not affect the original SoftPaq for Consumer PC products.
To remove the HP Jumpstart software, find your product type in the table below and use the specified SoftPaq.
