Enable or disable fn (function) or action keys mode (HP ProBook 440 G4, 450 G4, 470 G4, HP EliteBook Folio G1, and HP Fortis series Notebooks PCs)

Change the fn (function) key setting on certain HP ProBook and EliteBook business notebooks. In some BIOS settings, this function is called Hotkeys.

1. Press the power button to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press the esc key repeatedly to open the Startup Menu.

3. Press the f10 key to open the BIOS Setup menu.

4. Select the Advanced menu.

5. Select System Options.

6. Select or clear Launch Hotkeys without Fn Keypress.
