DESCRIPTION
600 G3 Systems with vPro can support Optane in either M.2 slot or with an PCIe to M.2 adapter. However, if the vPro is not purchased with the 600 G3, Optane is only supported in the M.2 storage slot on the system board.

RESOLUTION
Optane is only supported in the M.2 storage slot on the system board in systems that do not have vPro.
