HP Printers - Printing in Quiet Mode
Quiet Mode slows down printing to reduce the noise the printer makes when printing. It does not affect print quality. You can turn Quiet Mode on or off from the printer control panel.

note:Make sure to print on plain paper, and select Normal print quality from the printer properties of your software application when printing documents in Quiet Mode.

On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup
.

Touch Preferences.

Touch the box next to Quiet Mode to switch the setting to On.

Touch OK.To turn off Quiet Mode, repeat these steps, and switch the setting to OFF.
