The DDR2-SODIMM modules, when installed in the DDR DIMM slots on the motherboard, obscure the solder points for clearing CMOS and PWRD.
First remove the DDR2 SO-DIMMs.
To access the solder points, first remove the DDR2-SODIMM modules.
To clear CMOS, follow these steps:

Turn OFF the computer and unplug the power cord..

Locate the solder points labeled CLEAR CMOS. The solder points are found at the right edge of the motherboard, beneath the DDR2 SODIMM modules

Make a short on the 2 solder pads as shown above.
