    Information regarding recent vulnerabilities

    HP is aware of the recent vulnerabilities commonly referred to as "Spectre" and "Meltdown". HP has published a security bulletin with patches for these issues and a list of impacted systems. We will continue to update the bulletin as more information becomes available and encourage customers to check the bulletin frequently.

HP iPAQ 900 Business Messenger Series - Using the HP Photosmart Mobile Application

Use the HP Photosmart Mobile application to:
  • View photos stored on the device or a storage card
  • Add voice or text notes to the photos
  • Print photos
  • View a slideshow of the photos
  • Send photos by MMS, e-mail attachments, or Bluetooth
  • Assign a photo to a contact
  • Assign a photo to the Today screen as background
  • Upload a photo by e-mail to your Snapfish account
Viewing photos stored on your device or storage card
Follow these steps to view the photos.
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap Menu > Open Folder.
  3. Browse to the folder where you have saved the photos.
  4. Tap ok.
Attaching a voice note to a photo
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the thumbnail of a photo.
  3. Tap the (Sound) button.
  4. Tap the (Record) button on the sound toolbar.
  5. Speak into the microphone to record the note.
  6. Tap the (Stop) button to end the recording.
  7. Tap the (Play) button to play the recorded voice.
  8. Tap the (Delete) button, if you want to delete the recorded voice note.
  9. Tap the (Sound) button again to close the sound toolbar.
Printing photos using a storage card
  note:
Set up the printer before you can print photos from a storage card. All printers do not support printing from a storage card. Please refer to the printer manual for setup instructions.
Follow these steps to print photos from a storage card.
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the thumbnail of the photo to be printed.
  3. Tap Menu > Print…
  4. Select Storage Card from the Print window.
  5. Tap Next.
  6. Select the number of copies to print and tap Save. Now, remove the storage card from the device.
  7. To print pictures automatically, insert the storage card into a printer.
Viewing a photo slideshow
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the (Slideshow) button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap the screen to use the (Next), (Back), (Stop), and (Pause) buttons.
  note:
In a slideshow, you can also use your finger to flick pictures up, down, left, or right.
Sending photos by e-mail
  note:
Configure your e-mail account before you try to send photos by e-mail.
Follow these steps to send photos by e-mail.
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the thumbnail of a photo.
  3. Tap View.
  4. Tap Menu > Send… > E-mail Attachment.
  5. Select the Reduce sent photo size to check box. Then, select the required resolution from the list.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Type the appropriate e-mail address or use the Contacts option by tapping Menu > Add Recipient.
  8. Type the relevant information in the appropriate boxes.
  9. Tap Send.
Assigning a photo to a contact
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the thumbnail of a photo.
  3. Tap Menu > Assign To > Contact.
  4. Tap the name from the contact list.
  5. Tap ok.
Assigning a photo to the Today screen as background
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the thumbnail of a photo.
  3. Tap Menu > Assign To > Today Background.
  4. Tap ok.
Using the Snapfish feature
The Snapfish feature helps to upload photos from the device to your Snapfish account by using your e-mail account.
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap the thumbnail of a photo.
  3. Tap View.
  4. Tap Menu > Send… > Snapfish.

  5. Select the Reduce sent photo size to check box, and then select the required resolution from the list.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Select the appropriate e-mail account from the Select e-mail account list.

  8. Tap Send.
      note:
    To get more information about the Snapfish feature, tap Help.
  note:
If the e-mail account that you have used to send the photo to Snapfish is not registered, you will receive an e-mail with a link to a Web page that allows you to register an account.
