HP DesignJet Printers - EFI Designer Edition RIP Print Job Spools to Queue Processes but Never Prints

Issue:
When a print job is sent to the EFI Designer Edition for HP, spooled job remains in the queue but never prints.
Solution
This issue can be due to a paper size mismatch, that is, the paper size requested by the print job is larger than the paper size defined in the Raster Image Processor (RIP).
To verify this, open EFI Designer Edition for HP, open the Preferences and select the Printer section.
Under Printer settings select the Paper Size drop down and verify that paper size defined matches the print job paper size including margins.
If not make sure that paper loaded in the printer and the paper selected in the EFI Designer Edition for HP matches the paper size of the print job.
