HP Designjet 9000s Printer Series - Are Atmospheric Emissions of VOCs Regulated by Government Agencies?

Information
The release of VOCs into the atmosphere may be subject to applicable laws and regulations (including local, state, and federal regulations). These can vary greatly from place to place, even within a single state and country. Some regions may have very restrictive limits on the type and quantity of VOCs that may be released into the atmosphere. State and local regulations may require permits for equipment that emits VOCs, or limit the VOC content of inks, coatings, and other solvents (including those used for equipment cleaning and maintenance). Some regulations impose VOC limits on specific business categories, such as “Graphic Arts Printing” and “Flexible Vinyl Printing”. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all the laws and regulations relating to VOCs that apply to your business, and you may need to obtain legal and technical advice to help you design a compliance plan.
