HP Designjet 30 Series Printers - Unable to Select a 13 x 13 Inch Custom Paper Size in Windows Version 6.0 Driver

When selecting a custom page size of 13 x 13 inches or larger (in length), the message The new custom size is either too big or too small for the printer appears. Choosing 13 x 19 inch paper in the driver (the maximum supported media size supported on the printer), also will generate the same error.

note:

The 13 inch width works fine until 13 inches in length is reached. Once that length is reached or exceeded, the above message will appear.

Follow the instructions below:

1. Access the printer driver.
2. Select the Paper/Quality tab.
3. Choose Paper Options.
4. Select a Custom size and click Edit Paper list.
5. Type in 12.99 inches as the width and it will take the custom size without an error.
