HP Ink Cartridges and HP Printheads - HP No. 83 UV Ink Cartridges and Printheads

Introduction

HP No. 83 UV ink cartridges and printheads are designed to work with HP Designjet 5000 (42 inch/60 inch) and HP Designjet 5000PS (42 inch/60 inch) printers. Six UV-resistant ink colors and HP’s Jetexpress technology combine to help bring durability, unrivalled print speeds, and ultimate photo quality to production printing.

Features

Six UV-resistant ink colors

HP no. 83 pigment-based inks are newly formulated to deliver the most brilliant, photo-realistic images and vivid full-color graphics that are lightfast and durable, indoors and out.
The two additional ink colors, light cyan and light magenta, achieve the widest color gamut and smoothest color transitions offered by HP large-format printers.
HP color layering technology layers multiple drops of ink in single dots to produce brilliant color prints that are clear and sharp even close up.

HP No. 83 UV printheads with HP Jetexpress technology

HP Jetexpress technology results in fast, unattended printing without compromising image quality. The one-inch-wide printheads with 512 nozzles per printhead lay down a wider ink swath compared with 240 nozzles in HP Designjet CP series ink systems.
Maximum quality print modes up to 1200 dpi help bring high-resolution images to production printing.
Built-in smart chips and HP Designjet Web access tool
Smart chips embedded in each of the HP no. 83 UV printheads track printhead wear and alert users when it is time to replace. You can monitor the status of printing supplies using the HP Designjet Web access tool, the printer display panel, or the printer dialogue screen. The benefit? Consistent, high quality printing without guesswork.
HP no. 83 UV ink cartridges continuously monitor ink levels so you always know how much ink is in each cartridge. This smart printing system is ideal for overnight and unattended production printing.
Modular ink delivery system
Separate high-capacity ink cartridges allow you to replace individual supplies as needed, saving time and money.
Experience lower cost per print and increased printhead life by replacing printheads separately and less frequently than ink cartridges. On average, one printhead will last the time of two to three ink cartridges depending upon usage.
The HP no. 83 UV value packs, ink cartridge, printhead, and cleaner in one box provide production printing customers with added cost savings and convenience.

Outdoor or durable indoor prints

When you need more durable images with ultimate photo quality, choose HP no. 83 UV ink supplies. The UV-resistant inks are pigment-based to provide increased durability and fade resistance. When used with HP's recommended printing material, HP No. 83 UV ink supplies are ideal for the following:
