DESCRIPTION
When logging into the Operating System (OS), the fingerprint reader might not respond after rebooting the computer, resuming from Modern Standby mode, Sleep mode, or Hibernation mode. The PIN code or password works as expected.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, update Microsoft Windows 10 OS Build 19624 or later using the following steps:
Click
Start >
Settings.
Click
Update & Security.
Microsoft Windows searches for updates.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
To verify the installed Microsoft Windows version, under
Windows Update, scroll to related links, and then click
OS Build info.
