Use the following procedure to check for paper in all possible jam locations related to Tray 2. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays a message and an animation that assists in clearing the jam.

Lift the latch on the right door to release it.Figure : Lift the latch to release the right door

Gently pull out any jammed paper from the pick-up area inside the right door.Figure : Remove jammed paper from the pick-up area

Open Tray 2 and remove it from the printer by pulling and lifting it up slightly.Figure : Open and remove Tray 2

Remove any jammed or damaged sheets of paper from the tray. Verify that the tray is not overfilled and that the paper guides are adjusted correctly.Figure : Remove damaged sheets from the tray

Remove any paper from the feed rollers inside the printer. First pull the paper to the left to release it, and then pull it forward to remove it.Figure : Remove jammed paper from the tray feed rollers
