This message displays when the printer receives a fax or print job that was sent with a paper size requirement other than the current paper size available in the any of the printer trays. For example, this will occur if attempting to print or receive a fax of a legal document that is 8½ x 14 but the printer only has standard letter size 8½ x 11 paper in the trays.
If this error occurs, follow these steps:
- Use the Manual Tray to print the print job or fax using whichever paper is on hand.
- After the job prints, the Paper Mismatch error will clear.
- Using the Manual Tray print out it can be determined what application was used and the paper size requirements for that job.

Verify the paper and size setting is set to the correct paper being used. See the user manual for assistance with changing the paper type and size settings.

Not all Samsung printer with fax can accommodate legal size 8½ x 14 paper. See the model specification of the printer for full details.
To manually clear out stored faxes follow these steps:
- Press Menu.
- Use the left or right arrows until System Setup appears, then press OK.
- Use the left or right arrows until Clear Setting appears, then press OK.

The following options can be selected:
- All Settings: Clears all data in the memory and resets all of the settings to factory default.
- Fax Setup: Restores all fax settings to factory default.
- Copy Setup: Restores all copy settings to factory default.
- Scan Setup: Restores all scan settings to factory default.
- System Setup: Restores all system settings to factory default.
- Network Setup: Restores all network settings to factory default.
- Address Book: Clears all of the fax number entries stored in memory.
- Sent Report: Clears all records of sent faxes.
- Fax RCV Report: Clears all records of received faxes.
- Press OK and select YES to clear the Fax Sent Report and Fax RCV Report to clear all the recorded faxes.
