Using HP Pocket Playlist with an Apple / Mac OS X Computer

This document pertains to the HP Pocket Playlist with Apple devices.
  note:
This is an edited copy from the printed format of the HP Pocket Playlist User Guide. To obtain a better representation of the printed form, refer to the manuals section of this product’s support site.
Using the Pocket Playlist requires that you load software onto your Apple computer, and then use the computer as the hub from which you add content to the Pocket Playlist. See Setting up the HP Pocket Playlist for detailed instructions.
You can configure an Apple computer with the latest OS X operating system to access the folders and configuration screens on the Pocket Playlist.
Supported Devices
The iOS app supports the following devices:
  • iPod touch Gen 3/4/5
  • iPhone 3GS and above
  • iPad (all models)
Apps are available from the Apple App Store that allow optimized playback of the multimedia content.

To configure the Pocket Playlist, follow these steps:
  1. Open a web browser, such as Safari or Firefox. Make sure the Mac system has a wireless connection to the Pocket Playlist.
