Loading Paper and Envelopes for HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 MFP

Introduction
This document describes how to load paper and envelopes into the input tray.
Loading paper
Follow these steps to load paper.
  1. Lift the clear tray cover, and then slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.
  2. Load the paper in the input tray, print side up. Slide the paper forward until it stops.
      note:
    Do not overload the tray. Make sure that the stack of paper fits within the tray and is no higher than the top of the guides.

  3. Slide the paper guides inward until they stop at the edges of the paper.

Loading Envelopes
Before you load and print on envelopes, review the following guidelines.
  • Do not use envelopes with clasps, snaps, windows, coated linings, self-stick adhesives, or other synthetic materials that are susceptible to heat.
  • Do not use envelopes that are wrinkled, nicked, stuck together, or otherwise damaged.
  • If you use envelopes with peel-off adhesive strips, make sure they are approved for use in laser printers.
  • Only use envelopes recommended for laser printers.
  • Use envelopes with seams that extend to the corners.

Follow these steps to load envelopes.
  1. Slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.
  2. Remove any paper from the input tray.
  3. Load envelopes in the middle of the tray with the print side facing up and the stamp end in first.

  4. Slide the paper guides inward until they stop at the edges of the envelopes.
