HP Designjet 70/90/110 Plus/130 Printer Series - Installing Internal Network Card

This document describes how to install the Internal Jet direct card on HP Designjet Ultra Low End printers.
In HP Designjet Ultra Low End printers, there are two slots located at the back of the printer. This document provides insight about installing the internal network card correctly and also focuses on the issues related with incorrect installation.

Details

For the HP Designjet Entry level printers, the customers can purchase the network card or Jet Direct Network card for network connectivity. This is an accessory to provide connectivity to the HP Designjet Entry Level printers. The LAN card is inserted into a slot in the Electronics Module at the rear of the printer.
To guide the customer to insert the LAN Card into the correct slot, the Electronics Module now comes with the LAN Slot engraved with the words LAN and a symbol indicating LAN.
If the network card is installed correctly, the printer will print three pages while printing the information page.

Also, under Information Page, num of I/O cards present : 1 shows that the network card is present as shown in the figure below:
If the network card is not installed correctly, the printer will not print the I/O section as mentioned above and the information page will display num I/O cards present : 0.
