HP Photosmart C4200 and C4300 All-in-One Series - HP All-in-One Display is in the Wrong Language after Setup

Issue

After the product is set up, text on the product control panel appears in the wrong language.

Solution

note:
Some products might have a promotional sticker on the control panel display. Make sure that any stickers are removed from the control panel display before troubleshooting this issue.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue.
  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
  2. Press and hold the Cancel and Color Copy buttons simultaneously on the control panel.
  3. While still pressing the buttons, reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  4. Continue pressing the buttons until the display goes blank or Reset shows on the control panel display.
  5. If the product automatically turns off, turn it on.
  6. When prompted, select the correct language and country/region, and then press the OK button. Press the OK button again to confirm the selection.
Service or replace your HP product if the issue persists after completing all the preceding steps.
Go to Contact HP Customer Support to schedule a product repair or replacement. If you are in Asia Pacific, you will be directed to a local service center in your area.
To confirm your warranty status, go to HP Product Warranty Check. Repair fees might apply for out-of-warranty products.
