HP Business Desktop PCs - Chassis feels warm when running the PC at ambient room temperature
The chassis might feel warm at ambient room temperature, depending on your system configuration. To resolve this issue, update the BIOS.
This issue applies to the following system configuration:

Two 3.5-inch hard disk drives

One 2.5-inch hard disk drive
-
Optical disk drive
-
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card
Find the BIOS version
You must find out which BIOS version is installed on your computer before you can update the BIOS.

Update the BIOS
To resolve the thermal issue, update your BIOS to rev. 02.03.01 or later.
