HP Compaq 6820s Notebook PC - Unable to Find the Optical Drive (CD Drive) Option in the Quick Boot (F9)

Issue
The computer fails to boot from a bootable disk. When checked in BIOS (F10), the optical drive is selected as the First Boot Device. However, when checked in the Boot Priority menu (F9 - Quick Boot), the optical drive is not listed.
Solution
Disable SATA Native to resolve the issue:
1. Enter the BIOS.
2. Under the System Configuration sub-menu, choose Device Configuration.
3. Locate the option SATA Native Mode, and disable it.
4. Save the settings, and exit by pressing F10.
By performing the preceding steps, the issue will be resolved.
