HP iPAQ hx2750 Pocket PC - Error Message "crdsys.vlt blocks the backup" when Performing Backup

Issue:
The following error message appears when performing a backup on the unit. Usually the error message appears when the protect tools is enabled:
crdsys.vlt blocks the backup"
Solution
Please complete the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
  1. If there are any SD CARDs or MEMORY CARDs or CF cards, perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the SD card and put the IPAQ in the cradle.
    2. Synchronize and do a backup.
    3. Remove the IPAQ from the cradle.
    4. Put the SD card back, and put the IPAQ back in the cradle.
    5. Synchronize and do a backup.
  2. When the error message appears, please press SKIP all, and then let Back-up complete.
  3. Backup to a memory card then remove the SD card and perform a hard-reset, and then insert the card and then trying back-up by using active sync.
  4. Disable the protect tools and then try running the back-up.
  5. Update the latest ROM available at http://www.hp.com Click here for HP.com http://www.hp.com
  6. Perform a hard reset, and before enabling the protect tools create the back-up.
