HP Compaq Tablet PC TC1100 - Power Specifications

Power Specifications
The power subsystem consists of an external 65W AC adapter and an internal DC-to-DC converter. The batteries are charged when the external AC adapter is attached to the notebook.
Battery Support
The tablet PC supports a 6-cell battery. The battery provides power for up to 3 hours, depending upon usage.
The system includes a push button (1) and three LEDs (2) that indicate the battery is charged. When the battery charge button is pushed, each of the LEDs represent a percentage of the full charge. The following table describes the LED indications:

Bridge Battery
The bridge battery is located on the display panel inverter board. It provides battery power for one minute to allow changing a drained battery pack (while the system is in sleep mode) without having to power down the system.
Real-Time Clock (RTC) Battery
A disk-cell Lithium ion battery is used to maintain the real-time clock (RTC) and associated CMOS memory.
Power Management
The tablet PC is ACPI compliant, and supports the following power management modes:
  • On (S0)
  • Standby (S3)
  • Hibernate (S4)
  • Shutdown (S5)
