HP PSC 1310 Series - Installing Cartridges

note:
Install the cartridges as soon as possible after you remove the tape. Remove only the tape! Do not attempt to remove the copper strip.
Figure : If you have a new print cartridge, remove the tape
Figure : Make sure the printer is turned on
Figure : Open both doors on the printer, then wait a moment for the cartridge carriage to come to the center
Figure : Place the tri-color cartridge in the left slot at a slight angle, then press up and forward until the cartridge snaps into position
Figure : Place the black or photo cartridge in the right slot at a slight angle, then press up and forward until the cartridge snaps into position
Figure : Close the gray door
