HP Business PCs - HP BIOS Configuration Utility End of Support Notice (June 2022)
HP will retire HP BIOS Configuration Utility (HP BCU) in June 2022. There is no replacement planned. You can still use f10 to enter the BIOS.
To continue to manage the HP BIOS, use HP Client Management Script Library. For more information about HP Client Management Script Library, go to https://developers.hp.com/hp-client-management/doc/client-management-script-library.
What is changing?
HP BCU will be been retired and will no longer be supported on commercial desktops and notebooks, including HP Healthcare Edition PCs, Education E-edition products, workstations, and RPOS platforms.
HP BIOS Configuration Utility content will be pulled from the affected product collateral, assets, and web pages.
Can I continue to use HP BIOS Configuration Utility?
Yes, HP BCU will continue to work for older products launched before April 2022. HP BIOS Configuration Utility will not be tested with new products launched after March 2022.
