Sprout by HP - Calibrating Sprout by HP

Sprout Workspace depends on alignment of the HP Touch Mat and the projected screen on the touch mat. This alignment is calibrated during initial setup and can also be recalibrated any time you choose. During calibration, Sprout detects the alignment of the touch mat and adjusts the projector and the cameras to create the best results.
Use one of the following methods to calibrate your Sprout.
Calibrating from HP Workspace
Use the following steps to calibrate your Sprout from the Workspace.
  1. In the Workspace, tap the Help and Settings icon.

  2. In the Help and Settings menu, tap Settings .

  3. Tap Calibration.

  4. Make sure that Sprout is sitting on a flat surface. Do not put your hands or objects on or above the mat.
    On the monitor screen, tap Start Calibration.

  5. Wait while Sprout calibrates the system.

  6. Sprout will notify you when the calibration is complete. Tap the X in the upper-right to close the calibration utility.

  7. If calibration fails, read the following suggestions, make any corrections, and then retry.
    • Ensure that Sprout is on a flat surface, including making sure that nothing is stuck underneath the vertical column.
    • Ensure that no objects are on the touch mat.
    • Ensure that the touch mat is not illuminated by direct light and that no shadows are on the touch mat. You can try turning lights in the room down or off, or close curtains.
Calibrating from Windows Control Panel
Use the following steps to calibrate Sprout from Control Panel.
  1. At the Windows Start screen, type Control Panel to open the Search charm, and then click Control Panel in the Search results.

  2. In Control Panel, type Sprout in the Search box, and then click Sprout Settings in the Search results.

  3. In the list on the left, tap Calibration, then tap Calibrate.
