HP ENVY 7640 Printers - 'Counterfeit Cartridge Advisory' Warning Appears

This document is for the HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One printers.
Follow the prompts on the display to continue, or replace the indicated cartridges with genuine HP cartridges.
HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. Genuine HP cartridges are designed and tested with HP printers to help you easily produce great results, time after time.
  note:
HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP supplies. Printer service or repairs required as a result of using of a non-HP supply will not be covered under warranty.
If you believe you purchased genuine HP cartridges, go to www.hp.com/go/anticounterfeit.
To replace the cartridges
  1. Check that power is on.
  2. Remove the old cartridge.
    1. Open the access door.

    2. Remove the cartridge from the slot.
  3. Insert a new cartridge.
    1. Remove the cartridge from packaging.

    2. Remove plastic tape using the pull tab.

    3. Slide the new cartridge in the slot until it clicks.

  4. Close the cartridge access door.
    Figure : Graphic - Close the cartridge access door
      note:
    The HP printer software prompts you to align the ink cartridges when you print a document after installing a new ink cartridge.
