HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator - Not Able to Enter the Password on HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator

Issue:
The customer is not able to enter the password on HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator.
Solution
Reason:
The customer sets a password on the HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator. The unit goes to standby mode. The screen comes back and asks for a password. The screen shows only numbers and does not display any letters, nor has an option to change to letters. The password can be entered only from the touch screen.
Resolution:
The customer needs to do a hard reset on the unit, because it would only reset the power-on password on an IPAQ.
note:
Suggest the customer to use numbers only for the password.
