HP LaserJet Pro MFP - Copy in draft mode

Learn how to copy in draft mode, which uses less toner and decreases the cost per page. Using draft mode can reduce print quality, so it should be used only when draft copies are needed.

HP does not recommend full-time use of draft mode. If draft mode is used all the time, the toner supply might outlast the mechanical parts in the toner cartridge. If print quality begins to degrade and is no longer acceptable, consider replacing the toner cartridge.

Note:

The steps vary according to the type of control panel.
