Set Up My Dashboard for Personalized Support

My Dashboard quickly connects you to the HP Customer Support options available for your HP product, such as warranty and product information, software and drivers, troubleshooting, and contact information.
note:
Support options that require you to sign in to your HP account are indicated by a Sign In icon .

Step 1: Register an HP account

Register for an HP account to access the My Dashboard support options. If you already have an HP account, skip to the next step.
note:
HP Customer Support, HP Smart (formerly HP Connected), and HP Instant Ink web services all use the same HP account login. You do not need to create a new account for each service.
  1. Go to HP Customer Support, and then click Register at the top of the page.

  2. Select Create personal account or Create business account.

  3. Fill out the requested information, and then click Sign Up.

  4. If prompted, validate your email address to finish the registration.

Step 2: Add a device to My Dashboard

Sign in to your HP account, and then add a device to My Dashboard.
  1. Go to HP Customer Support, and then click Sign in at the top of the page.

  2. Sign in to your account, and then click My Dashboard.

  3. Add your device.
    • Click Identify now, and then click Add this product to My Dashboard next to your device.
      Or
    • Type the serial number, and then click Add device.

  4. If My Dashboard does not automatically display, click My Dashboard to access its support and troubleshooting options.
