Customers may observe error codes under Device Manager and/or issues with installing the graphics driver on second graphics, including features capability, when multiple graphic cards are configured in a Z4 G4, Z6 G4 and Z8 G4.
Using multiple graphic cards and setting the system to Legacy boot mode with Windows 10 operating systems, may cause the system to provide errors that are observed in Device Manager under "Display Adapters" and/or not being able to install the graphics driver. The issues seem to occur when changing the boot scheme to Legacy from UEFI mode, even though the Operating System boot hard drive is created with a GPT partition. The system, when changed to Legacy boot mode, causes the Legacy option ROM for graphics to be initiated.
The failure code may report multiple errors as bulleted below specifically when F10 setting, "Legacy Support Enable and Secure Boot Disable".
-
Failure to use specific features of the graphic card, because driver will not install on second graphics or primary graphics in a secondary slot.
-
Code 12: Resource Conflict error
