HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525 Printers - 13.D3.D4 Error

Issue:
When a 13.D3.D4 error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates that there is a jam near the duplexer because the paper did not reach the duplex sensor in time.
Solution
Step one: Clear the jam
For instructions to clear the jam, refer to HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525 - Clear jams in the duplexer (c05186122) (English).
Step two: Verify the paper type
Verify that the paper type selected matches the type being used in the printer.
Select the paper type (Windows):
  1. From the software program, select the Print option.
  2. Select the printer, and then click the Properties or Preferences button.
  3. Click the Paper/Quality tab.
  4. From the Paper type drop-down list, click the More... option.
  5. Expand the list of Type is: options.
  6. Expand the category of paper types that best describes your paper.
Select the paper type (Mac OS X):
  1. Click the File menu, and then click the Print option.
  2. In the Printer menu, select the printer.
  3. By default, the print driver displays the Copies & Pages menu. Open the menus drop-down list, and then click the Finishing menu.
  4. Select a type from the Media Type drop-down list.
Step three: Verify the print mode setting
  1. From the Home screen on the control panel, touch the Administration button.
  2. Touch General Settings.
  3. Touch Print Quality.
  4. Touch Adjust Paper Types.
  5. Select a paper type, and then select the mode to adjust.
  6. Select a value for the mode, and then touch the Save button.
