DESCRIPTION
The wireless LAN connection drops intermittently during normal use when Symantec EndPoint is installed. Additionally, after the connection is lost, the Wireless Device Status continually cycles between "Acquiring Network Address" and "Attempting To Authenticate".

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, set the Symantec EndPoint "Allow EAPOL authentication" rule as the first firewall rule. If any other rules are listed prior to "Allow EAPOL authentication" rule, authentication will fail because packets are delayed while other rules are processed.
