HP Designjet 600, 650, 700, and CP Series Printers - Making Copies of Print Jobs

Issue:

Making multiple copies of a print job on the HP Designjet 600, 650, 700, and CP series printers.

note:

The printer queue must be turned on before sending the job to the printer, and the job must still be in the queue.

note:

The printer will only queue HP-GL/2 files, any files that have been rasterized on the PC, or a third-party rip will not queue.

Solution

Press the ENTER key on the front panel to get to the menu.
Using the ARROW keys, scroll to Queueing and Nesting (Plot Mgmt for the HP Designjet 600 series) and press ENTER.
Scroll to Queue Management and press ENTER.
Scroll to the desired print job and press ENTER.
At the copies option, press ENTER.
Press the Up arrow key to select the desired amount of copies and press ENTER.
Scroll to Move to Top and press ENTER.
The print job will display and begin to print.
Press the PREVIOUS key to return the main menu.

Solution

If the job has already been printed:

Press the ENTER key on the front panel to get to the menu.
Using the ARROW keys, scroll to Queueing and Nesting (Plot Mgmt for the HP Designjet 600 series) and press ENTER.
Scroll to Queue Management and press ENTER.
The correct print job should already be highlighted, press ENTER.
At the copies option, press ENTER.
Press the Up arrow key to select the desired amount of copies and press ENTER.
Scroll to Move to Top and press ENTER.
The print job will display and begin to print.
Press the PREVIOUS key to return the main menu.

note:

The Macintosh platform can Queue print jobs to the HP Designjet 2500cp and 3500cp printers only.
