This document is for HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw, M148fdw printers.

Replace the toner cartridge when one of the following messages displays:

A Cartridge is Low or a Cartridge is Very Low message displays on the printer control panel.
A Cartridge is Low or a Cartridge is Very Low message displays on the computer screen.

HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw, M148fdw printers

To access and replace the toner cartridge, open the scanner assembly and cartridge door, remove the old toner cartridge, and then install a new one.

Lift the scanner assembly, and then the cartridge door.
Remove the toner cartridge.
Recycle the old toner cartridge.
Remove the new toner cartridge from the package.
Align the new toner cartridge with the tracks inside the printer, and then push the toner cartridge until it is firmly seated.
Close the cartridge door, and then lower the scanner assembly.

The new toner cartridge is installed, and the printer is ready to print.
