HP LaserJet CM1312 MFP Product Series - Network configuration restore required when changing network sub-nets

Issue:
The CM1312 series network solution does not automatically detect a change from an established (connected) network sub-net to a new network sub-net. Because of this issue the product will not automatically reattach to the new TCP/IP network and request a new IP address from the DHCP server. The IP address displayed on the network configuration page will either read the old IP address or give an error under the status section.
Solution
When product does not obtain a new IP address after moving from one network sub-net to a new network sub-net, the network settings will need to be restored through the control panel set-up menu. To do so, navigate from the set-up menu to the network configuration menu choice and press OK. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the restore defaults and press OK. This will reset only the network settings to the factory defaults.
  note:
If the product was previously set up for use on an IPV6 network, the settings will also be cleared.
  warning:
Changing network sub-nets will force the need for the process detailed above. When the process has completed the software on the PC(s) connected to this product will need to be uninstalled using the product programs menu uninstaller and reinstalled to reestablish scanning and printing features.
