    HP is aware of the recent class of vulnerabilities referred to as “speculative execution side-channel attacks”. HP has released a security bulletin for systems with Intel x86 processor, and will continue to provide more information on other processors (ARM, AMD) as it becomes available.

Installing the TouchPad
Overview
  1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly.
  2. Remove the keyboard.
  3. Remove the memory expansion compartment cover.
  4. Lift up on the left side of the TouchPad (1) until it disengages from the top cover.
  5. Swing the TouchPad up and back (2) and rest it on the top cover.
  6. Disconnect the TouchPad cables (3) and (4) from the system board.
  7. Remove the TouchPad.
  8. Reverse the preceding procedure to replace the TouchPad.
