HP UPD - Specifications
Learn about system requirements with the HP Universal Print Driver (UPD).
HP UPD requires a minimum of SP1 and Windows Update KB2813430 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2. HP recommends always having the latest Windows updates installed on all Windows operating systems.

Novell / Micro Focus
Novell iPrint has been rebranded to Micro Focus iPrint. For more information, go to https://www.novell.com/products/iprint/.
For Micro Focus iPrint (formerly Novell iPrint), HP UPD is supported in traditional mode only. Dynamic mode is not supported.
Pre-configuration of the driver using the HP Driver Configuration Utility (HP DCU) is supported so that administrators can define defaults before driver installation.
The iPrint clients are now available with iPrint server and not as a separate download. You should install the iPrint client from the Welcome page of the iPrint server or iPrint Appliance.
