HP USB-C Docking Stations - Computer Does Not Resume Hibernation (S4) When Pressing the Power Button on the Dock

DESCRIPTION
The computer does not resume from S4 while it is docked. This occurs when the power button settings are changed from the default setting (Modern Standby), to a customized setting, such as Hibernation mode (S4). This issue occurs intermittently.

RESOLUTION
Restart the computer to recover from this issue.
To resolve this issue, download and install the following SoftPaq to update the BIOS:
