HP LaserJet Enterprise, HP PageWide Enterprise - 99.09.63 Error

Issue:
When a 99.09.63 Incorrect Disk error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates the expected encrypted hard disk drive (HDD) is not installed. This is expected behavior when installing a new HDD in a printer where the previous HDD was encrypted.
Solution
Configure the new HDD for the printer. This must be done from the Preboot menu:
  1. Turn the printer off then on.
  2. The HP logo appears on the product control panel. When a "1/8" with an underscore appears below the HP logo, touch the logo to open the Preboot menu.
Perform the following actions from the Preboot Menu:
  1. Use the arrow buttons or the scrollbar on the touchscreen to navigate to the Administrator menu, then touch the OK button.
  2. Use the arrow buttons or the scrollbar on the touchscreen to navigate to the Manage Disk menu, then touch the OK button.
  3. Use the arrow buttons or the scrollbar on the touchscreen to navigate to the Boot Device menu, then touch the OK button.
  4. Use the arrow buttons or the scrollbar on the touchscreen to navigate to the Erase and unlock option, then touch the OK button.
      note:
This item reinitializes the disk and cleans all disk partitions. This item also unencrypts the hard drive from the previous formatter.
CAUTION: Selecting the Erase and unlock item removes all data. A delete confirmation prompt is not provided.
  5. From the Boot Device menu, use the arrow buttons or the scrollbar on the touchscreen to navigate to the Download option, then touch the OK button.
      note:
This item initiates a preboot firmware download process from a USB flash drive. Specific instructions for downloading firmware from a USB flash drive while in the Preboot menu can be found in this document: HP LaserJet Enterprise - Update firmware using a USB flash drive or the Embedded Web Server (EWS) (26K) (ID: emr_na-c03847902) .
  6. From the Boot Device menu, use the arrow buttons or the scrollbar on the touchscreen to navigate to the Lock Disk option, then touch the OK button. This option will lock (mate) the new secure disk to this printer.
