Compaq Evo n610c Notebook PC - Removing and Replacing the Battery
Introduction

The End User requires no hardware-specific training to replace the defective part. The End user should have familiarity with system hardware and software requiring repair.

Slide and hold the battery release latch to the unlock position.

Use your finger to lift the battery up and out.
Battery replacement

Toe the battery into the notebook.

Press the battery into the base enclosure until you hear a click.
