Automatic Daylight Saving Time adjustment has been added on the LaserJet Multifunction Printers (MFPs). A correct clock setting is not required for MFP operation. Some authentication methods, such as Kerberos, require a correct Universal Time setting, but do not care about Daylight Saving Time. The primary reason users might want to adjust for Daylight Saving Time is to have the correct time stamps on faxes, event logs, and so forth.
